Trapped Within

Cold scaly back long forked tongue

You're cold blooded and your eyes are empty

You show no emotion or empathy

Flies land on you and you make no move

They crawl all over your every grove

Awaiting to lunge at your guest

Treating everything around you as nothing more then pests

One day you will break from the cage

It holds in your life bottles in your rage

Someday you will be big enough to break from the glass

Find your owners and feed the grass
