The darkness you fear
Is what I saw as a child
The love you claim to own
Is something I don't know
All these emotions you have
Mine are non-existent
So can you tell me
Am I trapped?

I spend every damn day
Waiting to be set free
Trapped within myself
With all these horrid memories
But you'll never know my sickness
Or how far deep in I am
Forever trapped in this darkness
I feel I am forsaken
This path I walk down
Is always getting longer
These struggles I go thru
Are constantly never ending
Remembering nothing but the past
Just keeps making me more numb
So can you tell me,
Am I trapped?

I'm a ticking tragedy
Just waiting to happen
Theres nothing left to do, but
Find the strength to see things thru
So when they try to take the light away
I know I'll try my best to stay
