Transparent Vessel
God lend me your ear
Im begging here
In this dark room
Eyes like acidic oceans
Lord i need you
Marvin Sapp told me i never could have made it without you
And i know Jesus will work it out if I let him
Mary Mary said they cried their last tear yesterday and i hope tomorrow i can say
the same
Digging deep into the epitome of my faith
Lord i come to you on bloody knee
Pray for my sisters in Christ
God you know what they stand in need of
To summarize
They need the strength that you gave Daniel in the Lions Den to fight the enemy
they need the life you gave Lazarus in their spirits to rise from their misery
Lord i don't know how to pray
i know how to write
and tonight i need you to be my light
im using this pen to write to you through them
they might be too deep in the shadow
too choked up in pain
too weary to ask again or doing their best to leave the burden in your hand
God you know the reason im up past my bed time
even though i don’t know what to say
i want to thank you for the things you have done and the things you will do
i would not be up with you if i didn't know these angels
I am not a Saint but a sinner who fell down
Lord if i had your number i'd call you up right now
even if i had to go through your voice mail that says "Jesus on the main line, tell
him what you want"
I know your eye is on the sparrow
So I will steal away
