Transfusion
He was born as Jimmy Drake in Los Angeles.
However, by another name, he became famous.
He made records under the moniker “Nervous Norvus”.
He had a novelty hit many considered fabulous.
“Transfusion” was a recording some radio stations would not play.
The tune was considered a bit controversial in its day.
The song blended witty rhymes with sound effects of a car crash.
Back in 1956, it became a very popular smash.
Even though the artist long ago passed away,
this recording is still around for us to hear today.
I thank wikipedia.org online encyclopedia for the information I obtained to write this poem.
