Transfixed In a Sea of Green
It’s a bit cold for a spring day
The way the leaves bud on the trees
Has me transfixed in a sea of green
Pollen falls and I sneeze
It’s almost summertime now
But I sure feel the breeze
Well enough to chill a sunder
Better not sad spring to blunder
