Transcending Space
A chill, like breath from the edge of time,
Brushed my skin, whispered, “You are mine.”
Through dark silence, your soul reached through,
Awakening mine I had to answer you.
It stirred my being, disturbing my sleep
A slumber profound, calm and deep
How could I reason this mystic call
One soul reaching out claiming it all
A pull as strong as the moon on the tide
Drawing me closer no where to hide
Compelled to answer I couldn’t resist
As though our bond could still exist
A link unseen yet so firmly tied
Inviting me where your soul resides
Perhaps we’ve danced thru lifetimes past
With a love so real, one pure that lasts
A love untouched by death or despair
Its echoes still linger suspended in air
Two halves seeking their destined embrace
Defying the void transcending space
