Tranquillitas

                                                                      Ash
                                                                       of
                                                                      old
                                                                    storms
                                                                   ascends,
                                                              veiling the vault
                                                         with tremulous vapors
                                            where tumultuous elements contend
                                         within the clandestine citadels of thought.

                                       Yet providence tempers the feral convulsion
                                                         and loosens its austere
                                                           jurisdiction of wind;
                                                                 ether clears,
                                                                      lumen
                                                                   descends,
                                                                     hushed
                                                                       calm.
