Tranquility
Tranquility I have heard
This word stands for peace
Peace a state of being calm
Calm relax staying still.
Tranquility a word
With powerful meaning
To experience tranquility
One would have to love others not self.
Self a four letter word
That can deceive us all
You may disagree
You may agree.
Or just maybe you
May take a moment
To understand self
Let me explain.
Self cares for no one but self
Agree
Maybe
Maybe not lets see.
When broken or in pain
One think of self
When happy or sad
Self is first.
When in riches
Wealth is kept
Self is selfish
Self adores only me.
Tranquility is about
Letting go of me
Thinking of others
Putting others first.
Tranquility
Is about you and me
You agree.
