Tranquility

Insanity, Instability, a touch of vertigo. Trees rustling, clouds flying, a night so dark no stars can shine. Feet planted on earth so solid, anchored down a weight so heavy. Darkness settles as a cricket chirps- Silence shattered, winds howling, all quiet lost, swept away in a moment so great. Clarity, Epiphany, a touch of stability. A moon so bright peeking through the clouds, thin shafts of light illuminate the darkness. a shaking of shoulders, a release of burden. turmoil ceases it's muted roar, tranquility and peace eclipses this night. footsteps light on the path to follow, surety in step for the moment has passed. ©K. This is lovely, Kristy! Like the way you 'turned the tables' so to say...from gloom and instability to light and tranquility. well done! // paul

Thanks Paul! Slow transition, but I'm "working" on some "lighter" side ones!
