Tranquil Delight

when I throw
all of my anxieties
on God there
becomes within me
an inner calm
when he answers my
prayers I know that he
is with me
with an intuition
far beyond comprehension
my eye does see him
with the eye of understanding
I have no unsettling
perplexing questions 
or undue anxieties
he bestows upon
me a peace of heart
and mind
far beyond yours 
or my own understanding
tranquil is my countenance
and with this rays are
emitted upon my
face
