Train
Old wailing midnight train,
Cry louder for tomorrow,
And wake your weary soul
Still sleeping in its sorrow
Speed swiftly down your track
And whistle 'round the bend,
Reminding those who pass
You will not stop again
Ride roaring bravely forth
With steely strength and pride,
As you climb ever north
In search of brighter skies
Sing out despite the darkness
And pave your steady path
Upon your road of iron
Until you breathe your last.
