Trail of Tears

TRAIL OF TEARS

I've been there once,
I've been there twice
BLUE SKIES, never die!

A day of sorrow,
I can still feel the pain from yesterday,
The pain continues to sit there today,
It will continue to sit there tomorrow,
No word to say.
BLUE SKIES!
Nothing Less.

A trail of tears,
My life left

Dear Skat Your words seem so sad in these works of yours, do you ever smile any more in the world or in written verse, and yet you must express and vent these feelings, I validate that so it is a well done and heart felt work here my dear friend, cheri

Wonderful! There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.

and i am always staring at them, when they are in the process of forgetting me.as if they never cared, i stare.they say what i say is BS, but really it's the truth from the deepest depth that they have forgotten themselves and are afraid of, but one has to stay true, right? even if what they do to u is so unfair.i think you are like that too Irma.you just have to stay true, and don't ever change that. beautiful and sad poem again. -Aways&Forever Lynette

I know this feeling.i tried a poem once, but i didn't know how to word it,your poem said it all in your own emotions.a person can say they will always be there.and yet, they will always leave, its like a cycle, thats what makes it a trail of tears as you wrote.i never leave anyone behind,i try to put myself in their shoes, i've always been one to stay where i say i will.i just lost my best friend and sworn sister in the past 2 weeks too because they decided to leave.your poem is great Irma.-Always

:( I'm sorry it's sad but at least you can express yourself without being suicidal like in emo poetry. The ALL CAPPS isn't recommended though, it makes it hard to read. Thank you for your comment on my poem. I'm not running from anything, the poem helps me keep rhythm while I run. Hence the title God Bless!
