Tragic Victory

it seems that fate vomits complications even patience won’t wait running from dysfunctions hope requires enlightenment truths’ very essence fates’ arrangement weakens hopes’ presence mischievous destiny always hungry for control opposes the sanity which strengthens the soul reality gets twisted up in the mind knowledge is arrested and all that’s left to find is a blanket of wreckage of all goodness broken insanity’s full coverage not a space is left open where virtue and logic can walk free the chaos is tragic when fate gets a victory

Your poem today Christy has really touched me, hope seems such a fragile thing when pitted against fate. But for some reason, in me, hope returns over and over again, only to be knocked down over and over again. I haven't taken the time to notice if it comes back stronger each time but I do know that it always seems to find a way to let me down. Maybe it just needs to be stronger or fate a bit weaker...either way, your poem has touched a nerve, that is how well written it is.
