Tragic Loss By Evil Thoughts

They left their homes with dreams for the day
Some of them could have been leaders in fray
The dastardly deed planned by a demented soul
They worship the Almighty, prostrate they pray
An act of revenge for the collateral deaths
An evil insidious promise that they will be blessed
At point blank these innocent kids were shot
Weeping, wailing and screaming they withered in pain
Life was compassionate to reveal them of same
Their pleas to be spared was painted by blood
On walls and floors of the school where they read
There was no reason to deny them their life
Needless loved ones grieve the loss of their kids
Their rage is reverberating throughout this world
Death took a human form to take them away
When, is this madness going to end
Perhaps when no one else is left to kill
This happens all over the world
A grim reminder of what is to be.

Dedicated to the Loss of Innocent Life in Peshawar,
US and other countries.
