Notes About The Poem

Tragedy

Tragedy

We all feel loss,
a lack of acceptance,
an aloneness.
Yet we are not,
anything that we believe...
we are.

The moment is what it is,
yet there is a greater stretch...
an instance,
that will outlast,
all the bad,
and replace it with... wonder,
and the comfort of Light,
totally unknown until it is
truly accepted.

The war of our existence,
is one of white knights,
and One True King...
the Maker of everything.
Dark demons,
and descended angels,
plummeted from heaven.
They were thrown to the ground,
ever minion-ed and married...
to evil itself.

The enemy
in front of us,
screaming our name,
or what it thinks it is.
The truth... it can not be.
We are protected,
by blood,
His...
precious blood.

Emotions are hard to control,
and we are speeding past the line,
in a race that will soon be over,
and far beyond...
just the essence
of time.
