Traffic (The Story of Johnny)
---#2 of 4---
I saw a man on the highway
saw him walk into my way
skid to a stop to ask why
he said it be called suicide
I said I can help you
he said if you want you'll go to hell too
so i took him to a pawn shop
he fixed his eyes on a guitar
I asked if he could play
he said maybe some day
I said to forget all your bad thoughts
he claims that will never come too
Days later started a band
Johnny standing pick in his hand
he said I forgot my
stupid thoughts of suicide
later that night Johnny died
hit by a car on Route 49
poor boy never could win
now he's with Ronnie for ever again.
