I honor the day of Canada's birth on July 1st, 1867, a nation rooted in democracy began to grow and flourish, irrigated by its people's sweat, blood, and tears. I'm lucky to have inherited a Canadian culture rich with tradition and diversity. For liberty's an unequivocal right, in the land of hockey, beaver tails, and maple syrup. Canadians actively promote peace defending the full meaning of free, our voices united in the power of our vote. Canada's a compassionate nation based on morals, ideals, equality, and freedom. I'm part of this country, and it's part of me. (Ode) 12,23,2019

How joyful is your description of "the land of hockey, beaver tails and maple syrup, Emile. Your nation is not only a peacekeeper, but also a great neighbor that offers assistance to other countries when disaster strikes. No wonder Canadians have such pride in their country. Congratulations on a second place in the contest! Best wishes, Carolyn
