The glory of an individual heart Understands the joy and the pain! Through a broken heart we gain in wisdom Through a joyful heart, We understand the individual pain We trading love stories As poets who would figure All we need at times is a broken relationship That transforms the heart! Our pencil becoming a trigger displaying The shadow of a relationship! Like a ship some of our relationships will sink In the blink of an eye things can change— Strange who would figure that all we need at times is a broken Relationship in order to write some of the most beautiful poetry Looking back in history, we see the poets trading love stories Therefore, as poets we are no different We trading love stories Our emotions are on the rise reaching a level that Will inspire us to write several poems displaying The complexity of a love story filled with happiness and sadness Mark Frank Copyright 2022
