Trade-Off

You have at your ready
    A million pieces of eight
Taken from the hold of a pirate ship
   The ship is sailing now
        in distant waters
        You have at your ready
a long- lost field
where you can hide your treasure
if your goal is to be wealthy
         why then you've made it
   I'm sure, however
        you miss riding
under a skull and crossbones
    Looting villages, causing mayhem
You'll get your chance again
if not now - then sometime
in the future (not too far off)

I see you giving hope to the unworthy. Am I mistaken?
