Toxic State

Bullets wrapped in death 
     Hitting the frame of life 
         Humanity left with no breath,
Shadow of love holds knife 
      Peace has dissolved in hate
         Dark and dangerous is life, 
Tears trickle down my eyes
      World is in a toxic state 
         Unable to filter truth and lies.
