Toxic

Square one, Here I find myself again. Around the board, Pass go And do not collect 200. Get over yourself, Pick your head up So you can look up and see... See all the damage you're doing. Shamelessly, Selfishly, Causing catastrophes in your wake, Collateral damage, Chaos in the making, Hurting the ones you claim to care for, Creating deep seated scars... Time and time again, All the second chances, Take a second to let that soak in. Aren't you concerned? Your hands are clammy, Craters where your fingers found something to grip, Track marks carve the path to your heart. Self destructing, Ticking like a time bomb, Look at your wrist again As you're counting down for depression to detonate. The sound of a clock, I'm the tic to your tock, Cast out the demons, I tend to piss you off, This is current events. I'm picturing your face, Memories of pain, Plentiful, Skip the pleasantries, Screw your idealogies. Shut down To silence the beast. Sanity, Chasing sorrow, Not knowing if I'll live until tomorrow. Save the speech, You'll be somewhere more suited to save you, In two days time, Better enjoy your freedom while it lasts tomorrow. I'll be in the shallows, In shell shock, Still, These invisible wound bleed, You broke me Left me alone to get straight all on my own. We were bound by hate, Junkie love, Addicted, Damn near sealed my fate. Obsession, A tidal wave of toxicity. Together we failed, Launch the lecture, It is violence we seek. Slowly slaughter my Hope's and dreams, Shut up or kill me, We have sinned, God forgive me. Shame on me for staying, I should have saved myself From your torment and agony, Antagonize me, You fueled the fire, I pray you feel the anger in the words I speak, You wanted a fight So I declared war Forcing you to free me. You deserve to sit in that cell.
