tough love finally
tough love
some say it is the best way
so they toss their child out with the trash
she climbs back in the window
huddles under her blankets
praying you won’t find her
you do not feel guilty
you do not care
you are a parent who is stressed and strapped
for forty-six years you have coddled her
working three jobs whereas she has had none
whose fault is this?
