Tough Love

Our bodies collided in the moonlight Lying under him memories held my mind hostage. As I looked up and saw his face He was watching over me. The feeling of his touch Leaves me cold and motionless. As he took back control again. Telling myself it’s just a dream No matter how real it may seem. He is just a figment of my imagination. And he cannot hurt me. My true love lies next to me As we make love one more time My memories are far behind.

That is what came in my mind when I read this, same as Gail said below here. "powerful poem" it says so much about the feelings of a woman in this situation. REAlly great title. I love when poets use fitting titles.
