Touching the Human Soul
Can one man touch a human soul?
He can by being genuine in nature
To not hide feelings, outwardly expressing
Showing that love and respect are not obscure
Can one man touch another’s soul?
I say, yes, by affirming the goodness
Not only within himself, but within the other
Doubting not the other’s heart, but relying on it
Can one man touch many souls?
Yes, by acknowledging he himself to be fallible
That he is but human and wishes to be better
In faith, love, compassion and all things done daily
Reach out today and touch another
It is not in the physical sense, but spiritual
As to live this way now, is to secure your life thereafter
Let not the soul within you lose the spark it was born with
