Notes About The Poem

I did this in the 5 7 7 syllable count as it allowed me a bit more input

on the second reflective focus..' this write is just based on what I have found to be true with life

I think its rather sad when people get used to firing of negative words; or an aura.' If in fact if it cost something

to do it maybe they'd consider , rather than being spendthrifts as it were..' you often hear

the phrase kindness costs nothing, yet I think that kindness/patience costs something more that's the

reason some are skinflints in this area, so the write is not pointed at anyone in particular

'just an observation' based on the 'saying kindness costs nothing'

Touching Reality'

winter or summer,

Nastiness times; costs, one  zilch.'

Man this is a deep convoluted write. Seeing your question to Nathan, I'd say that yes Senyru is the best form to express the conflicting sides of humanity. After all Senyru is meant to be a dark comedy about humanities less desirable aspects. So kudos to you for an appropriate poetic form, for your intended statement. Oh and thanks for you visit today.

Hi Nathan, thanks for the comment what I am exploring within the Senryu format is the contradiction of the saying kindness costs nothing, when on considering 'perhaps' people speak or act negatively is I guess a better word..' because initially they perceive 'it costs nothing' so how unconscious are lies 'or self deceit even' and how does it exist in the English language,
