Touched By Your Flame
The draft came and went
I wanted to sit here
crying alone
I nearly had a fit there
Why is it that when you want something bad
You can't ever touch it, not even ...so sad
I wanted your sweet
your kiss your desire
You were so much higher
the dance was so dire
I did what I wanted
you did away too
I draft here and ponder
my life is so damned I must be a fool
You were so desired
your touch was like fire
Claimed me and melted
all ice was so damned by it
I know you are youthful
despised by no ..one
I want to be truthful
desire you My blinding..sun
I was burned softly
not by a flame
but by your simple touch
so ...so much shame
I wanted you badly
I wanted to love
I've got to be turned now
and dance with you...my dove
Even while knowing
your touch will leave me moaning
through the desperate haze
I fly out of my maze
and burn it down gently
by the touch of your grace.
