Touched By An Angel

She knew not what to do and felt so helplessly lost
For nothing seemed true as her life seemed tossed
Laying awake at night as she couldn't even sleep
Even with all her might the fear would still creep

So near her wits end she just fell down on the floor
She couldn't mend and she couldn't take it anymore
And as there she would lay until a man came along
Over her he did pray that the Lord make her strong

Every word she could discern in opening up her eyes
But as she went to turn she was in for a big surprise
There was no one there, in fact nobody was around
Just a bright sun glare and something else she found

In repeating what she heard that fear just went away
And soon it had occurred all she needs to do is pray
That fear in now defenseless as she crushed it's head
Now life is no longer a mess but filled with joy instead

Psalms 32:6
For this shall every one that is godly
pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found:
surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
