Romantics weave a web of hope spun from frayed threads of a daydream. Yet, it's as strong as any rope and as bracing as a cool stream. Life offers more than debt and war. Humans have adapted to cope with both reality and dream. Sliding down a slippery slope, no one can hear a silent scream. To touch the sky, first learn to fly.

This little posie truly spoke to me. It reminded me of my flying days. Brilliantly expressed Emile. I agree with Milton. You always celebrate poetry forms, introducing poets to many different forms. Your poetry inspires! Have a great week. Blessings xxoo

For 34 years on all types of Aircraft. I was on the inaugural flight out of Seattle to Chicago on the 747 Jumbo Jet we all feared was so heavy it would not get off the ground. All the passengers applauded on takeoff and landing there was loud cheers. Blessings xxoo

Ah so, my friend. I truly like this brief poem. It seems a little akin to a quintilla, but has rhyme features akin to the villanelle, too. I appreciate the way you introduce us to new forms with stellar examples, my friend. Keep up the good work.
