Touch of Fate

The fingerprints of fate
Have crossed my path
I feel them, but am unsure
What direction do they point to?
I am confused, and sad...
I feel incapable
Of choosing
The path
They wish for me to follow
Crossroads every day
No clear sign to lead me
Hit and miss
I do miss
So many
So often
For so long
Scattered like dandelion
Seeds by the wind
Winds that shift directions

All I have is my intuition
Sometimes sidetracked
By suspicion
Or superstition...

The road is dark,
The skies broil
The hair on my neck bristles
I choose a path
Fate is fate
Inevitable is inevitable
I am only human
I merely try my best

Hoping God will see me through
Fate is fate
Inevitable is inevitable
'Tis the way of the Universe.
Fate is fate
Inevitable is inevitable.
