Tottering On the Edge

I’m giving it a shot
even though I said I would not

If you say that phrase
I’ll be gone in a flash
and leave on the spot

I know where I belong
and I don’t want to be far gone
I just need to pass the time

It bring up my fears
of being stuck here
and never moving on

My heart is sending me miles away
unless I find a reason
a good reason for me to stay

Right now I’m teetering on the edge
because I know this isn’t where I belong

Very compelling, Corinne. If he can't provide you with "a good reason" to stay, he doesn't deserve you. Bless you, Carolyn
