Totem Pole Dervish
Totem pole dervish
whirling with glee
Thrilled in color formation
spinning her enthusiasm
Over sky’s horizon
Showing off like crazy
Her diverse animal power
Red cardinal, black crow,
gray wolf, leaning with yellow eyes
smacking his lips over the smell of the
deer who knows something is amiss
staying in the meadow, watching the
whirling, as if on pause
Totem pole dervish
Living an imaginary life
in my dendrite wall
making me shake with
pure happiness and animal enthusiasm
toward my power animals who are
living my dream state in a fascinated way
