Grief is difficult to put one side and forget. However, for one owns sanity it must be dealt with. Given time, most deal with grief - I liken it to a slow release tablet one is prescribed for example, flu. The flu process shorter naturally, the grief longer but many doses of laughter can help together with a will that that life can still be sweet. But I have witnessed a scenario where a person dies of grief. A thought provoking Monoku, which can raise an interesting debate. Hugs Jennifer.

Grief is a natural counterbalance to love, and is measured by how much love we had for the deceased, for some it’s an overwhelming burden, and can swallow us whole, and as you said can even kill the sufferer, they actually believe letting go is a betrayal to their loved one, a debate indeed, thank you Jennifer, cheers David

I fully understand Deb, grief really messes with the mind, I’m glad your getting over your mothers loss, and I’m sorry if my little monoku, was in any way upsetting, cheers David

Agreed David you are spot on ….I felt a sense of abandonment to my mum when I finally could talk about her without actually crying….all a process of moving on…..Debx

Grief is as powerful as love Deb, two sides of the same coin, most in time will come to terms with it, but some never do, because paradoxically it feels like they are abandoning the deceased, cheers David

Love loss esp through bereavement really is measured in grief Jenna, some people feel they are betraying the person by letting go, and this actually destroys them more, it’s a terribly desperate situation, cheers David
