I detested poetry at school; it was dull and boring,
Everything changed when my husband got cancer, I began to write …
This year I’ve published my first poetry book - it won’t be my last!

Hi Jan, Wonderful news and I am definitely going to a copy as I love your great sense of humor. Congratulations on your accomplishment and it's always good to hear from you. My ex whom I am quite close with, was recently dx. with cancer. Nov. and Dec. have been a blur for me.

Jan….you have been through a rough time and are so deserving of all the loveliness and goodness that comes your way and should be incredibly proud of all your achievements! I like what Mr Cunningham says below “ the dark clouds were silver lined” !! You go Jan onwards and upwards! Yes the change is so dramatic and if it hadn't been for my husband's cancer I would never have picked up my pen let alone dreamed of writing a book!Happy New Year:-) hugs Jan xx
