Total Blackout

Eclipse of the disco ball,
a full floor drank that rhythm on ice;
Total Blackout;

Will they get out, CAN they get out?

88 Keys to dance on,
awash with a psychedelic trance;
Unable to shout;

Will they, can they, ever get out?

Each pair of feet moving
faster than the sound of the DJ;
Oh that soft pout;

Now there’s positively no way out;

 Backlit Solar sight,
 a beat you feel but can’t react to;
Total Blackout.

Horrific, even without a strobe light. Too many tragedies like this these days. ~ gw
