Tossing Out Regret

I’ve decided to be rid of some things:

	a moth-holed sequined dress with bitter tags,
	the weeping journal of ennui and pain,
        the mocking trophy case of trophied dust,
        proud calligraphed to-do lists left unchecked.

Let them shout accusations from the curb!

If you don't enjoy dusting it and/or only see it only when you move - toss it! That's my MO. LOVE the title. Raised an Army brat, I learned early about only seeing 'it' to pack 'it' meant I should throw it away. I confess, though, that I have a hard time with the rule about clothes, 'getting rid of it if you haven't worn it in a year.' I enjoyed the poem and the philosophy - very good! Poetry hugs ...
