Violently rotating column of air Tornado terrifying big storm One natural phenomenon That leaves much devastation In its wide path of fury Like many people With quick tempers Who leave tears Behind Them

Good metaphor. In just a short time, a lot of damage can be done.

You've got that one correct, David. People can be injured or killed. A very destructive force when one comes through. Thanks for the visit. Sara K

Well, Victor, I have never lived in Texas (I see it on the news), but they do have tornadoes out there and I think quite a few in the last few years due to weather happening. I live in Georgia, and we do have tornadoes here three or four came close to our home in my lifetime but never has hit our home for which I thank God. The county has put a warning system in and a couple of years ago put one of those devices on a pole right at my home. It is needed to warn people, but they set it off every other Wednesday which is awful even with double paned windows and doors. Thanks for stopping by. Sara

The comparison at the end of the poem of tornado to the fury of men, is quite apt. Both leave tears behind. Great shape poem. All the Best dear Sara.

Nice shape poem and analogy Sara. All it takes is a single loss of self control and people end up dead. So sad

Yes, I agree, Tom. Today it is worse than in the past. Some people are out there just looking for a fight to get into. Thanks for the visit and nice review. Sara K
