Tornado

It seems there’s a storm
Lingering around
Moving into the area
What a lonely sound

The thunder rumbles
 Wind and clouds
Large rain drops
The hail is loud

It grows darker
The light disappears
The storm grows larger
It turns severe

I hear the warnings
Throughout the town
Calling loudly
It’s coming down

The funnel descends
With whirling wind
A finger of God
No ones friend

It touches down
Then fades away
No damage is done
Safe for today
