'torn In the Broken Places'

I am at that crossroad again Lord I've chosen wrong - Strengthen me Lift me up Dry these tears like only you can Inside something feels so torn You see beyond the veneer You see the core The twists and turns That only you can unravel This vessel is leaking It's broken in broken places Touch my core, touch my spirit The fleeting moments Where I feel like giving up Where I feel this is the end Sweep me up in your embrace Make me feel whole again At times when everything falls apart Do it not because I ask But Because you know exactly What I need

Back here again, Missy! Thank you for letting me know that you are ok-- I guess that in some ways, I can relate with you and have those days, where some things just feel heavier (ok umm that sounds kinda have a double meaning with the aunt in the red car-- see I remember that poem of yours, haha, no I am not talking about that). I think you know what I am trying to get at. But yes, during those bleak days, we see light in our faith in God. Hope you're having a good week! Mwahugs! :)

You know what I have always admired in you Missy? Your very strong faith in God-- I don't know what you are going through now, but I think that through it all, you will be fine, and come out stronger-- reading your poem is truly inspiring and strengthening-- I can go back to this whenever I lose hope and find the faith that you have... you are so right, God knows indeed what we need and in time, He will show us the answers. Mwahugs and such a nice surprise to hear from you! I hope all is well!

I know you are someone who writes a lot from the heart so I feel bad that something has happened to you? I hope everything gets set right in your life. I wish you were here more often. Remember the old days? So many members have strayed. it's great to see you back.

I think my only concern in this piece is that, it seems, the heart NEEDS another to be strong again. A heart needs not the beats of another to thrive on its own rhythm. We want to feel that peace. But, if they're not willing to give it, walk on. This was a very deep & honest writing.
