Torn Apart

Torn apart yet you have a place in my heart Wanting and needing you But in the end I know it will never manifest to be true Many times I think back When our love was deeply enacted All the time spent Was all excitement and bliss But what could you ever give me A silly ring and your self pity My soul is in chains By one night of screaming your name Now I have said I do But was my love really true The pain is a reality Forget all the legalities But it was only a phase And my mind is still in a haze But you still have a place in my heart Even though we are torn apart
