Torn

I feel like I'm torn,
Cut open and bleeding,
But there's nothing I can do
'cause you're all that I'm seeing.

I see your arms wrapped around her,
See your amazing smile.
If only you'd loved me.
If only for a little while.

You were a perfect hunter.
I fell right into your trap.
You convinced me you loved me,
With your sweetness and sap.

It doesn't matter what I do,
Some things I just can't weather.
I loved everything about you,
But you always loved her better.

You laughed at my pain
As you ripped out my heart,
Leaving a gaping hole
In every little broken part.

Now I see you together,
I feel like fading away.
I wish I was invisible,
Hadn't seen the light today.

I see your arms wrapped around her,
See your amazing smile...
If only you'd loved me,
If only for a little while.

You were a perfect hunter,
Now I'm dead in your trap.
You convinced me you loved me,
With your sweetness and sap.

No matter what I do,
It's just a dead letter,
I loved everything about you...
But you always loved her better.

You always loved her better.

Why can't you leave me in peace?
Now I'm left alone, forlorn.
Through it all I still love you,
How can I be so torn?
