Toothache
Woe is me, woe is me
This toothache will be the end of me
Why must my tooth treat me like this?
Did I treat her too poorly?
I've done all I can to maintain this relationship;
Save for here and there when I was a kid
Woe is me, woe is me
This toothache will be the end of me
I thought we shared something magical
We love the same treats; we even have the same tastes
But maybe the chocolate fudge ice cream with chocolate syrup wasn't so practical
She was always with me; even traveling with me to other states
Woe is me, woe is me
This toothache will be the end of me
I guess our companionship just wasn't meant to last
We aren't as inseparable as I had thought
Was it the lack of gifts, perhaps?
I never bought her anything but she never asked
This comes from the bottom of my lips: 'so long my dear, I'm afraid it's time to say goodbye..it's evident our friendship has a crack'
