Took That Risk

I took that risk
Being loved by you
Never dreamed we'd still
Be together today, too

We both took chances in life
We shouldn't have done 
Thinking on the other side
We'd have more fun

Those are chances 
We did take a risk, too
Because of them
We were almost through

We learned from those mistakes 
We made then
Moving forward,  and will never
Take those chances,  again 

Still,  today,  I am happy
I took the risk of loving you
Whatever happens now 
Nobody knows, except us two.
