Took a Bow

There’s a lot of shadows, roaming in my head
You’re the reason why I feel so much dread 
So, set my spirits free from bondage right now
Somehow, I’ll be wiping away the sweat from my brow

I harness happiness
Distress and sadness will go away
I harness harmlessness
Anxious depression won’t lead me astray

You left me behind
With a mind of my own
Positivity will unwind
The rest remains unknown
You left me behind like an unanswered phone
With blind tears of so many kinds
So many kinds…close the blinds
I take a bow on my own, on my own, on my own

Beautiful truth sweeps out the lies from my brain of cheer
Wondrous fear has given me a reason to weep here, weep here
Hopes and dreams have made me feel like a river-cloudy ether
Freer than a deer in the wilderness and some thunderous weather

Gracious soul of mine
Oh, I hope you’ll be fine
Anxious as hell in my shell
But my hopes and dreams aren’t on sell
Aren’t on sell, so don’t give in to distress
Might as well feel my way out of darkness
You’re appealing to the very touch
I miss your kisses and hugs so much
