Too Soon
The cries,
nurture,
innocence,
restricted by affection,
instructors,
finding paths in obscurity,
trapped in bonds,
used or misused,
made or damaged.
ambition,
among friends and foes,
the pitfalls,
cavalcades,
torrents mars the visage,
on the hill,
and too soon in the valley,
the body aches,
worn and diseased,
reflections,
regrets,
or remorse,
so soon,
as vapor,
we pass.
