Too Many Stars
There are too many stars in the sky at night
Too many grains of sand on the beach
The night, more than the day, is blinding-bright
The seas are now but a sandy reef
More mouths to feed than blades of grass
More fire than fuel in the hearth
The burning desires of men may go up in smoke
With myriad more Earthlings than Earth
