Too Good For Your Secret Truth
So you think you have what it takes
to soar on the wings of success
to bask in the warmth of luminescent imagination.
So you think you wrote the book
another been there done that
scene too envious to reveal your secret truths.
So you think that you can be a creator
Mold the world with your bare hands
make everything beautiful with a wave of your wand.
But something keeps you from awakening
you've drown in the sandman's powder
what will it take to make you see speak of what is inside yourself
A woman speaks to you in your slumber
telling you of your flaws and your idiosyncracies
you finally awake from your dreamland
cold sweat upon your weary brow
someone finally called you out
what tall tales can you speak of now.
