Too Fragile For This World

Too Fragile for this World When I heard that you had left us, I pacified myself, saying it was for the best, as she was too fragile for this world. Devastated again, I lay here in tears, missing you, as God's plans unfurled. You were so fragile, a gentle sweet soul, always giving and loving, always forgiving and so kind. But you ran too fast, we could never keep up, going where I don't see, and you left us behind. When will I follow, and be together at your side, will you wait there for me, will it be much longer, So much time spent with you, watching how you lived your life, did I learn to love like you, will my time with you make me stronger? Lost in our grief and anguish, as you left us far too soon, we think of you often, Yet, there is no consolation to be found. But now we will remember, the sweet and funny things you said, as we gather here to celebrate and love yet, cherished with family all around. So we pause in thoughts and actions, as we consider our times with you, reliving them just one more time, Beloved memories of precious time with you, I trust we will remember, when going forth each day, that we, too, can live like you did, in everything you'd do!
