Too Busy

in the hub of action
strangers’ faces
pass by in a blur
rushing and racing
too busy to connect

smiles in absentia
their on switch off
most probably
conserving energy

overwhelmed
exhausted
barely keeping up
with the pace
of living

Ouch! The truth hurts, I am afeard...Those bums get no mercy from me.
