Too Arrogant To Notice

Beasts who walk upright More cruel than their four footed companions We kill for ridiculous reasons They only kill for food Beasts we are, we humans And arrogant Many believing we are superior to others Some professing to be queens and kings, possibly gods The four footed ones are humble, loving, giving, they have compassion Their empathy should shame us all But we are too arrogant to notice.
