TONIGHT- IAN MUNYWE
Tonight I sleep,
despondent.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up optimistic.
Tonight I sleep,
poor.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up opulent.
Tonight I sleep,
broken.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up mended.
Tonight I sleep,
damned.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up redeemed.
Tonight I sleep,
battered.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up jubilant.
Tonight I sleep,
with thoughts bleak.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up at my peak.
Tonight I sleep,
afraid.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up gallant.
Tonight I sleep,
a dreamer.
Tomorrow I might,
wake up a doer.
